PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER:
Any information not in the disclosures on the website and pertaining to the University can be requested as per the rules and procedures laid down in the RTI Act, 2005. The application for seeking information can be made on a plain paper and shall be submitted in person or may be sent by post alongwith the processing fee as prescribed under the RTI Act/Fee Rules in the form of demand draft or a bankers cheque or an Indian Postal Order (IPO), payable to Geetanjali University, Udaipur. The RTI fees can also be paid in cash at the University Cash Counter and the copy of the receipt should be enclosed alongwith the application

If the applicant belongs to the below poverty line (BPL) category, he is not required to pay any fee. However, he should submit a proof in support issued by the competent authority. The application not accompanied by the prescribed fee or proof of the applicant’s belonging to below poverty line category, as the case may be, shall not be a valid application under the RTI Act.

APPELLATE AUTHORITY:
If an applicant is not supplied information within the prescribed time or is not satisfied with the information furnished to him/her, he/she may prefer an appeal to the appellate authority of the University as mentioned below. Such an appeal should be filed within a period of thirty days from the date on which the limit of 30 days of supply of information is expired or from the date on which the information or decision of the Public Information Officer is received.
